Upcoming Event for BC's Young Fishermen Jan 24-25th
BC's commercial fishing industry is rapidly aging and eventually new, young entrants will soon be the lifeblood of this industry.
Ensuring they have the tools to succeed in this challenging industry is the objective of the two-day event, The BC Young Fishermen's Gathering, being held in Victoria January 24 & 25th, 2017.

Fish Safe believes that any successful fishing business must be built upon a foundation that puts safety first. That's why for years Fish Safe has urged all fishermen, young and old to make it your business to come home safely, and it's for this reason Fish Safe will be attending the event with a 60 minute safety presentation planned for Jan. 25 at 10:45 am.
Organized by T. Buck Suzuki Environmental Foundation this event promises to provide a supportive environment to foster learning, networking and growth for the next generation of BC's fishing fleet!
