The roe herring fishery is quickly approaching!
Our Safety Advisor, Cheryl Lawson, was out walking the docks in French Creek, Deep Bay, and Comox from March 2-5, getting ready for the start of herring and conducting immersion suit drills with the fleet. It was a fantastic couple of days as she managed to reach out and work with over 150 fishermen. Cheryl had some great conversations with the fishermen about safety, risk assessment, and PFDs.
