Fishing and face masks

Many questions and concerns exist when it comes to using face masks as protection against COVID-19.
Fishing operations make it a challenge to maintain the recommended 2 meter physical/social distancing requirement at all times, and so having protective masks on board will be a necessity for many if not most operators.
But what kind of mask should you use? What if you can’t find the commonly referred to ‘N95’ mask? How long should you wear a mask?
