Herring fishermen: Protect our coastal communities from COVID-19
All BC commercial fishermen are required to have COVID-19 safety protocols in place for protecting their crew as well as the coastal communities they may transit near.
It is essential that fishermen follow the WorkSafeBC and provincially reviewed Guidelines and Protocols for Preventing the Spread of COVID-19 in the BC Commercial Wild Fish Harvest Industry - available HERE
Vessel masters (skippers) are required to have documented, vessel-specific COVID-19 protocols in place on board their vessels – protocol examples are available HERE.
