Dock Mounted Crane Operation Certification

Dock mounted cranes are used all over the coast of BC at small craft harbours and move everything related to fishing and boat supplies and equipment. They can be mounted on docks, floats, columns or other structures and can range in lifting capacity from a few hundred pounds to 100 tons or more.

The majority of crane accidents are caused by human error. Accidents can be minimised or prevented by making sure all operators have received formal training.

Fulford Certification has built a training program specially for Small Craft Harbour Crane Operations and has been working closely with the Harbour Authority Association of BC (HAABC). The training program is available online for $90 with a second add on for larger cranes for $35, if needed.
