Fishermen recognize that the potential for stability incidents in the herring fishery are high.

This ‘Best Practices’ document is a collaborative effort by fishermen and members of the Herring Industry Advisory Board.  Its goal is to assist fishermen in reducing or removing threats to vessel stability, improving safety procedures and providing a quality product.
