WorkSafeBC COVID-19 App

Vessel owners and masters have a responsibility to create a COVID-19 safety plan that can keep crew safe when working.

To help do this, WorkSafeBC has created a new app that guides a user through a six-step process to outline policies, guidelines and procedures.

Additionally, guidelines and protocols specific to commercial fishing have been reviewed by the Province and by WorkSafeBC and are available HERE.

Used in combination, both the app and the guidelines can simplify the process of creating documented COVID-19 policies and procedures that are specific to your vessel, your fishery and your crew.
